Shaft Seal Assembly

The Shaft Seal Assembly is an integrated, modular unit for expander main shaft ends. Multiple sealing technologies-including multi-stage seal rings, damping bushings, and elastic compensation units-are combined in one assembly. This forms a closed cavity with the housing and adapts to both axial runout and radial movement of the rotor. There is no rigid friction, and the alignment is precise. Customers can install it directly, saving time and avoiding repeated on-site adjustments.

Labyrinth, brush, and floating ring seals can be integrated in a single assembly. The combination provides more than 40% better leakage control compared to separate components. The one-piece design eliminates cumulative errors from piece-by-piece assembly, ensuring continuous sealing and minimizing single-point leakage risk. The Shaft Seal Assembly reliably handles temperatures from -120°C to 350°C, pressures up to 7.0 MPa, and speeds from 4,000 to 55,000 r/min, with radial assembly gaps of 0.10–0.45 mm, axial compensation of ±1.5–±4.0 mm, and overall runout ≤0.04 mm. Service life is ≥24,000 hours.
