The seal features an ultra-precise gap of 0.02 – 0.10 mm, almost touching the shaft. The soft carbon wears in to form a perfectly matched surface. Multiple rings can be installed in series: if one ring does not block all leakage, the next ring captures the remainder. This design achieves near-zero leakage, even in high-temperature applications up to 450°C.
3. High-Purity Materials with Proven Reliability
We use imported high-purity carbon graphite and a mature impregnation process for superior durability. The number of rings and dimensions can be customized based on the customer's shaft diameter and operating conditions. Our Segmented Carbon Ring Seal has over 200 successful installations in China.
