Double Flexible Seal

The Double Flexible Seal features dual elastic elements-one provides radial pressing force, the other offers axial cushioning. The seal strip is made of flexible wear-resistant alloy. When the rotor deforms, the two layers move independently, ensuring continuous contact with the sector plate without sticking or excessive friction. This design is ideal for older preheaters with significant rotor deformation.

With radial compensation of 15–40 mm and axial compensation of 5–15 mm, this seal handles much larger thermal and mechanical deformations than single-elastic seals. It follows the rotor's mushroom-shaped deformation throughout operation, eliminating the need for manual adjustments and ensuring stable sealing performance.

The Double Flexible Seal can replace original seal strips directly, with no need to modify the preheater structure. On-site measurement ensures a perfect fit. Customization is available for different preheater models. With a service life of 3–5 years and leakage reduction of 40–65%, it's an ideal solution for retrofitting older rotary air preheaters.
