Why Choose Our Axial Labyrinth Seal?

1. Extra Side Teeth for Superior Sealing

Our High Efficiency Labyrinth Seal is an upgraded design over traditional labyrinth seals. We retain the strengths of the original design while adding new sealing structures. For wholesalers, this product is ideal for retrofitting old units-it improves performance without altering the original structure.

The key feature is the "side teeth." Tilted side teeth are placed on both sides of the seal body. Their slanted orientation changes the direction of steam flow, preventing it from moving straight through. Small vortexes form, creating additional resistance. This combination of multi-stage throttling and vortex resistance significantly improves sealing performance compared to ordinary teeth.

2. Flexible Teeth Protect the Rotor

Safety and reliability are priorities. The side teeth are slightly flexible, so if the rotor shifts due to vibration or thermal expansion, the teeth can move back without rubbing or scratching the shaft. This ensures both effective sealing and rotor protection.

Replacing a conventional labyrinth seal with our High Efficiency Labyrinth Seal requires no cylinder modifications-it is a direct retrofit. Downtime is short, and installation is simple. The seal operates from -40°C to 600°C at pressures up to 10 MPa. Side tooth tilt angles range from 15° to 45°, with a radial design gap of 0.25 to 1.0 mm. Service life is 3 to 6 years.

3. Custom Design and Full-Service Support

As a high-tech company with over 100 patents, we provide stable products with minimal after-sales issues. We can customize the side tooth angle and number of stages to match your customer's unit parameters. Full support is available, from on-site measurement to installation guidance.

Our High Efficiency Labyrinth Seal has been retrofitted on about 200 units in China.
